For homeowners who want broader protection, GAF’s enhanced warranty tiers offer significantly stronger coverage. A GAF Roofing System Limited Warranty may apply when GAF Lifetime Shingles and at least three qualifying GAF accessories are installed together as a system. Enhanced options — System Plus, Silver Pledge, and Golden Pledge — require registration and are available only through specific GAF certified contractor levels.
What that means in plain terms: System Plus extends the Smart Choice Protection Period from 10 years to 50 years and includes tear-off coverage when necessary. Silver Pledge adds 10 years of workmanship coverage. Golden Pledge offers 20 to 30 years of workmanship coverage depending on the shingles installed. For commercial roofing, GAF also offers the GAF Diamond Pledge NDL roof guarantee and a Steep Slope Addendum for properties with both flat and steep-slope areas.

As a Platinum contractor, we can offer TAMKO Shield, ProShield, and MasterShield Enhanced Limited System Warranties in addition to the Standard Limited Warranty. In plain terms: TAMKO Shield includes a 20-year Full Start period. ProShield includes a 50-year Full Start period. MasterShield includes a 50-year Full Start period plus 10 years of workmanship coverage — subject to qualifying products and accessories.
TAMKO laminated and architectural asphalt shingles also carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty that doesn’t require additional registration. Enhanced limited warranties require a certified contractor, qualifying installation steps, registration, and applicable fees.

CertainTeed shingles carry standard SureStart protection, covering 100% of materials and labor during the applicable early coverage period in the event of a manufacturing defect.
CertainTeed also offers SureStart PLUS Extended Warranty Protection — with full coverage available up to 50 years — when an Integrity Roof System is installed by a CertainTeed Credentialed contractor. American Roofing and Restorations holds CertainTeed Master Shingle Applicator status. For commercial flat and low-slope roofs, American WeatherStar’s fluid-applied roofing systems offer three primary warranty levels: Roof Coating Material, NDL System, and NDL System Elite. The NDL System warranty covers both labor and materials for leaks caused by product defects or workmanship. NDL System Elite is the highest level available and requires annual inspections and documented maintenance.
